Cleaning guide
Cleaning Milled Silvers
1. Wash the coin with distilled water, fit to coin clamp.
2. Shake the Aventor Gold and silver cleaning solution to activate its plant based formula. And cover the coin with a few droplets of the solution.
3. Using cotton wool buds, rub in the solution in a small circular manner, this will slowly lift the tarnish from the silver coin. keep doing this until you have your desired appearance. Onlu use composite pencil if absolutely required.

Cleaning Crusty
Roman/Gerogian coins
1. Wash coins with distilled water and fit to clamp.
2. Use the white nib of the composite pencil to slowly and carefully remove the crust off the coin, do not get to close to the patina with the white nib or it will scratch the coin.
3. When close to the patina change the nib to the dark nib. Shake the Copper and bronze Aventor solution, add it sparingly to the coins surface, then use the pencil in a circular motion to slowly and carefully remove debris and corrosion from the coin. Keep repeating this process until you have the desired look. Do not go into the coins patina, if in doubt stop sooner.
4. Add the Aventor preserver of your choice for the final shine and seal.

Cleaning Hammered Coins
1. Use Aventor solution and cotton wool bud to slowly bring the coin back to life.
2. If tarnish very stuborn then the dark tip on the composite pencil can be used in small gentle circles. Ensure the pencil is not sharpened for the to avoid scratching the coin, and use it at an horizontal angle.
3. Repeat the process, and after each time wipe the fluid off with cotton woll bud until you have the desired appearance.

Cleaning Green Copper
Coins/ Artefacts
1. Clean with cotton wool balls & distilled water, go gentle, slowly removing the dirt.
2. Then use the preserve wax, or Aventor cream by rubbing into the coins or artefacts.
3. Rub off excess presever until you have the desired appearance.
