My Beginner recommendation the Minelab Vanquish 360
If I was starting the hobby again this is what I would purchase, it looks amazing and performs well above its price tag. Multi-frequency, light weight, high quality build, this really is a great starter.

My intermediate recommendation the Minelab X-Terra elite
If I ever had to get rid of my manticore, honestly this is the machine I would choose. This is as good as it gets for under £500. Great overall performance.

Minelab Manticore, my advanced recommendation.
I am a former Equinox 800 user, and I loved that machine. But the manticore has made such a difference to my finds rate. It is priced as such for a reason. I absolutely love it. The separation, depth, and overall performance is phenomenal. This is the best detector on the market in my opinion.
